Notes from the CAKE meeting

C. A. K. E  Is our acronym for Coffee Assisted Knowledge  Exchange which is a relaxed forum for discussing Ham Radio topics which are primarily technical and experiential in nature.  Most of our sessions are quite informal, mystery items and exhibits are often included
These sessions are usually held on the 2nd  and 4th Saturdays of each month from 10:00 to noon in The Abbey coffee shop at the Church of Ancient Faith located at the junction of Mission St and Highway #1 in Santa Cruz.  Occasionally we arrange formal presentations held at a variety of locations including members homes.  These sessions are planned several weeks in advance and details are given via the K6BJ email list and during the Monday night 2m net at 7:30 PM
CAKE participants enjoy sharing their many decades of amateur and professional experience. We courteously discuss  questions at any level and those from young, new or aspiring Hams are particularly welcome.
