CAKE 2/6

Notes from the CAKE meeting

Cake Feb 6

This session as many of you know was for Warren NR0V to bring us right up to date on his work to improve the means which our radios use to combat noise and interference.  By learning from the past and extending the state of the art, Warren’s work is in the best tradition of both Amateur and Professional radio science. It was good to have such an attentive audience, and their probing questions showed how much Warren’s presentation was appreciated.

For the first time we were very pleased to welcome  5 students from UCSC.  It was clear that they are keenly interested in SDR topics.  My thanks go to whomever made them aware of the session and would appreciate knowing how to contact them in the future.
